How to play

Build your five.

Start with 100 energy (your mana budget). Select exactly five unique Legends, each with a fantasy price. Your combined price must be 100 or less. You get one entry per tournament, and playing is completely free.

You can build and edit a team as a guest. Sign in with Google when you want to save it. You’ll choose a public display name, return to the same five picks and press Confirm team. Until that final confirmation, the team is only a draft on your device and will not be submitted automatically.

Confirm before the deadline.

Your first confirmation creates your one official entry. You can return, replace Legends and confirm the changes as often as you like before the displayed deadline. Each confirmation updates the same entry; it never creates a second team. The latest confirmed version is the one that counts.

When the deadline passes, that latest confirmed team becomes permanently read-only. Unconfirmed edits and guest drafts do not replace it and are never entered automatically. Public teams stay hidden until lock.

Lock times appear in Los Angeles time and your own timezone. The countdown follows the configured deadline. Always check the tournament page for the current time.

Let the tournament do the talking.

Each Legend earns points for the highest milestone reached by any player piloting that Legend. Points do not stack. A Top 8 finish is worth 34 points total, not Day 2 plus Top 64 plus Top 32 plus Top 16 plus Top 8.

Your team score is the sum of all five Legends. For example, scores of 34, 24, 16, 10 and 5 give your team 89 points. Every Legend counts equally.

Admins enter results manually. As a Legend goes further, their previous score is replaced. Results are labeled provisional until verified and marked final. Corrections update every affected entry automatically.

What is Day 2 conversion?

Day 2 pilots ÷ Day 1 pilots × 100. If 12 of 40 pilots reach Day 2, that’s 30%. No Day 1 pilots means 0%; missing counts display a dash. This statistic helps tell the tournament story and does not affect your score.

What happens in a tie?

Equal total scores share a rank. Two players tied for first are both #1, and the next player is #3. Tied players display in original submission-time order, then entry ID. This ordering does not break the tie.
